FAQ

Please RSVP here as soon as you can – this helps us work out food and numbers! If you’re still working out your plans please reply by the 20th August 2021 at the very latest.
Our dress code is somewhere between smart casual and semiformal – think ‘dress to impress‘! Leave the ballgown to Cinderella (!) but we kindly ask that you do not wear jeans, trainers or caps. Dresses, jumpsuits, suits and smart shirt/trouser/blouse combinations are all fine. Some parts of the wedding will be outside so you may wish to bring a jacket and sun cream. There is grassed outdoors space at the Barns, so be careful if you’re planning on wearing stiletto-type shoes.
We're afraid pets are not able to join us at the venue.
Visit our page here to find out more about where we are, and how to get to Combe Manor.
Parking is available in the grounds of Combe Manor Barns. The Church is a very short walk from the Barns - best to bring an umbrella (just in case!).
Depending on what your invite specifies, daytime guests should arrive by 1.45pm ready for the service at 2pm and evening guests should arrive from 7.30pm.
No, there are no toilets at the church, but you can use the ones at the venue before the service, which is very close to where you will be parking.
If you are bringing any extra confetti (we will be supplying some!) only natural confetti, such as dried flower petals, are allowed.
We’d love to see your snaps! Just please don’t post anything online until 7.30pm so all guests can enjoy the day without any spoilers! There isn't much phone signal, so please come prepared to be "un-plugged".
The most important part of the day according to one of us. Daytime guests will be served snacks and a three-course meal. The main course will be pork and the vegetarian option will be mushroom risotto. Children (under 12's) will be served chicken goujons. In the evening, all guests will be able to enjoy a selection of cheeses and biscuits, as well as some sweet treats!
Of course! From vegan to gluten-free we won’t leave you to starve! Put any dietary requirements on your RSVP and we will let the caterers know. Just be aware, we cannot 100% guarantee the complete absence of allergens.
After the ceremony, daytime guests will head to the Barns for canapés (snacks!) and drinks. We're really looking forward to being able to spend time with friends and to catch up. There will also be some games and time for photos.
In the evening, there will be a bar which will accept both cash and card for you to enjoy drinks.
Spending the day with you is the best gift we could ask for…! If you really do wish to get us something, we're looking to buy a National Trust lifetime membership, so would appreciate any small contribution to help us create a lifetime of memories. If you wish to contribute via BACS please email us at [email protected] and we can share the bank account details.
